Basic Features of RFID
In the recent past, RFID technology underwent rapid progress, not only in the area of objects and human beings identification but it has also been successfully implemented and used in the logistic domain. During the lecture, we will discuss features and functions of different RFID components and the way of their integration into a network. We will also mention security aspects related to the use of RFID technology.
Lukas Vojtech received his engineering degree from the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, in 2003. In 2005, he received bachelor degree in Engineering Pedagogy from the Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies in Prague. Currently, he works as an assistant professor at the Department of Telecommunication Engineering, CTU in Prague. His research interest includes wireless technologies and mainly RFID technology.
