We are located at the last stop of line A (green) called 'Dejvicka'. Use the exit which leads to Šolínova street and go along this street until you see the building with the CTU logo (the blue lion) on the facade.
This is the Faculty of Electrical Engineering building. We are located in block A4, 5th floor.
Go straight from the main entrance to the main staircase. Now turn right and go through this corridor. There is another staircase and an elevator which takes you to the 5th floor to us.
From the Ruzyne Airport
You can go by bus, official airport taxi or outsourced companies' taxi. Journey to our place takes approx. 25 minutes (12 km).
AAA Radiotaxi is an official airport transport company which has fixed rates. Starting rate is 40 CZK, 1km in Prague costs 25 CZK, waiting rate for 1 min. is 5 CZK. There are also outsourced transport companies, which services are in a price range from 150 CZK to 980 CZK according to price zone.
If you choose city public transport, there are some short instructions how to get to us:
- Go by bus no. 119 or no. 254 to the last stop called Dejvická.
- Use an underpass to reach the other side of Evropská street.
- Go along Šolínova street until you can see the building with CTU's logo.
- Use the main entrance, the first one on the right side of Technická street.
From the Main Railway Station
The best way how to get to us from the Main railway station (Hlavní nádraží) is by underground (line C - red). The entrance to the underground is in the main hall. Go one station in Háje direction to Muzeum station. Change the line. On the A line (green) use the train which terminates at Dejvická station, which is the final destination for you too. Use the exit to Šolínova street. Go along Šolínova street until you can see the building with CTU's logo. Use the main entrance, the first one on the right side of Technická street.
The journey by underground takes about 12 minutes. You must use a transfer ticket for public transport which costs 26 CZK (July 2008).
